Published: Thursday, May 21st, 2009 Ride Into The Sunset For some, nothing is more exhilarating than riding a horse on the open beach while enjoying the views from the perfect vantage point. A sunset ride with a loved one can be blissfully romantic and a family outing with the kids is a memorable experience.

Bandon Beach Riding Stables offers guided riding tours seven days a week for all occasions. Riders of all ages are welcomed (children under 5 must ride double) and special accommodations are available for handicapped enthusiasts.

Witness first-hand the majestic splendor of living tide pools, beautiful rock formations and natural beach caves, which will inspire memories for years to come. The stables offer a one hour 3-mile ride all year long, and a 90 minute 5-mile sunset ride beach ride from May through September. (A 90 minute ride at 4 p.m. is available for those interested between October and April - call for details.)

All rides leave on the hour - weather permitting - at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and at 4 p.m., with a cost of $40 (except the 90 minute 4 p.m.

ride, which is $50.) The seasonal sunset ride begins at 6 p.m. and is $50.
