First Ever Shop and Hop in Old Town

We are really encouraging our "locals" to get involved in the festivities, so they can re-acquaint themselves with the shops in Bandon, so when they need something, they will support the local merchants, rather than travel out of town, or order on-line. It will be fun-filled event, with the end result being lots of visitors (local and tourists) visiting our shops, knowing what we sell, and maybe even buying something that weekend, but for sure, realize that Bandon merchants have a wide variety of items.

Participants will pick up their "gamecard" (a piece of cardstock with names of all the participating shops) & scavenger hunt questions at one of several locations.

Then participants will have to visit each of the participating shops finding the answers to the scavenger hunt questions. When the participant finds an answer in a shop then that shop will use a stamp of their choice and put it in the box with their name.

Participants will have only two days to complete their scavenger hunt.
Once they have filled in all the boxes with stamps then they will turn in their passport at the last shop visited. By May 31, we will have the drawings completed, and the shops will begin contacting the winners, of their gift certificates.
The Grand Prize will be a two night stay at the Dunes, including 2 rounds of golf per person, second prize(s) will be $25.00 gift certificate (one per shop), and third prize(s) will be $15 gift certificates one per shop.
We have a full budget, with printing and advertising costs built into it, about 2000 flyers will be printed, 500 "passports" will be printed.

Each shop will be given the name & address/phone number of the prize winners who have won their gift certificates and will need to contact their winners.

NOW, we need to know who wants to participate: Cost is $85/shop (which includes your donation of 1-$25 gift certificate and 1-$15 gift certificate). So amount of check to write is: $45.00/shop, make check payable to Old Town Merchants Association, and drop off at NodNab in the Old Town Mall (WheelHouse mall). They are open from 11-5 daily, or you can leave at Bandon Coffee Cafe daily 6-3.

We also need to have, if you decide to participate, a "scavenger hunt" question for your shop!
